How far is Grzybowo from Kołobrzeg?
Grzybowo is about 4 km west of Kołobrzeg. It is a few minutes by car, or roughly a quarter of an hour by bike along the coastal path. Szczecin is about 140 km away, Berlin about 300 km.
What is there to see in and around Grzybowo?
Grzybowo’s biggest attraction is its wide, sandy beach and the sunsets over the Baltic. The cycle path along the dunes takes you to Kołobrzeg, with its pier, lighthouse, port and boat trips. Dźwirzyno and Lake Resko Przymorskie are worth a visit, the pine forest is lovely for walks, and the church ruins at Trzęsacz make a great day trip.
What is the beach like in Grzybowo?
The beach in Grzybowo is wide, sandy and quieter than in central Kołobrzeg, which makes it a good choice with children. From Blå Marine it is a walk of about 950 m, partly through the pine forest.
Is Grzybowo a good seaside destination for families with children?
Yes. Grzybowo is a quiet seaside village with a wide beach, yet close to Kołobrzeg, where there is plenty to do when the weather turns. At Blå Marine children have fenced grounds, a playground, a trampoline and their own mini beach, and a cot, high chair and baby bath are available at no extra charge.
Holiday cabin or hotel — which is better for a family?
For families with children a cabin often wins: 56 m² just for you, two separate bedrooms, a kitchenette and a private terrace. The children can go to bed early while the parents enjoy the evening on the terrace, with no fixed mealtimes to work around. A hotel offers service and a restaurant on site — a cabin offers freedom, privacy and space.
Cabin or apartment on the Baltic coast — which should I choose?
An apartment is usually one unit in a building shared with many others. A Blå Marine cabin has its own entrance, a terrace on green, fenced grounds and two bedrooms upstairs, and the children step straight out onto the playground rather than into a stairwell or car park. If you value quiet, greenery and space, choose a cabin.
What does a Scandinavian-style cabin look like?
Our cabins have a dark timber façade with white trim, and inside you’ll find light wood, white walls, natural materials and nautical touches. Scandinavian style is so popular because it combines simplicity, the warmth of wood and practicality — an interior that makes it easy to unwind. Browse the gallery to see the cabins up close.
